summary:
Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley reunite in Walt Disney Pictures', in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Films, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," an all new epic tale chronicling adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow and inevitably Will Turnner. This time around, Johnny returns as Captain Jack Sparrow and is caught in yet another tangled web of supernatural intrigue. It turns out, Captain Jack owes a blood debt to the legendary Davey Jones, ruler of the ocean depths and captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. If Jack can't figure a crafty way out of this one, he'll be cursed to an afterlife of eternal servitude and damnation. And as if that weren't enough, Captain Jack's problems throw a huge wrench into the wedding plans of the blissful Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who quickly find themselves thrust into Jack's misadventures.

my thoughts:
This movie was a pretty good movie; my only gripe with this movie is its lack on any ending. This movie is meant to hook up with the 3rd installment of the series. I guess I can be ok with that, but I am a very impatient person so I will deduct points for their dirty maneuver (purely done only to make money).
All in all this entire movie has very well done fight scenes, an extremely interesting plot, and a good main antagonist (it's very rare that a main enemy is any bit interesting).

recommended audience: most ages, but younger kids may get scared by the giant squid or misc. creatures within.

CHICK FLICK RATING: 2 out of 5 (1 is 100% action and no romance, 5 is no action but 100% romance)
reasons:  -this movie happens just premature of Will Turnner's wedding; so there is no romance
-this movie is about pirates and other violent things adding to the action

MY RATING: 7 out of 10
reasons:  -I deducted one point from my rating because of the lack of an ending
-all the action was very choreographed (not totaly a bad thing, at least it doesn't suck)
