summary:
Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) is a family man whose career as an architect does not leave much time for his wife Donna (Kate Beckinsale) and his two kids. To avoid annoyance in regards to too many remotes he decides he needs a universal remote that does it all. On his search for one he meets Morty (Christopher Walken) who gives him a one-of-a-kind remote specialy designed to control his life. With each click, Michael can control his career and personal life. But complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.

my thoughts:
'Click' starts off good, but starts to lose ground on its predictable plot. this movie goes on just as you think it would but the reasons why he skips forward get lost when you think that his wife is played by Kate Beckinsale. 'Click' redeems it's self with characters like Christopher Walken and David Hasselhoff but I would still recommend seeing this movie only when you are in a good mood because if you aren't you may likely shut the movie off or just walk away (as a result of being board by it's predictable nature). All in all though it was still a good movie and well worth seeing.

recommended audience: couples mainly, but most young people with their idealist natures still intact will like this movie.

CHICK FLICK RATING: 4 out of 5 (1 is 100% action and no romance, 5 is no action but 100% romance)
reasons:  -the whole basis of this movie is the main character's family (romance related and kids)
-the only real action in this movie is the pressing of the remote

MY RATING: 6 out of 10
reasons:  -I took away some points because of the extreme predictableness of the plot
-just the mere fact that the main character would ever ignore his wife when his wife is
          Kate Beckinsale is retarded
